Dental Health Fun!

What a fun field trip we had today at Dr. Reichl's office! I am continuously amazed by their organization, warm hearts and engaging stations all set and ready for us to enjoy! What a great experience for all of our Kindergarten kids :-)

Skyping with our Buddies from Hawaii!

On Thursday we had lots of fun meeting with our Skype Buddies in Hawaii!  We had missed them!  We loved seeing and hearing about all of their awesome learning experiences related to Martin Luther King Jr. and the 100th Day!  They even sang us a beautiful song about being flowers!  We were very envious of their beautiful 80 degree weather!!  They were even wearing shorts!  They couldn't believe we had to stay in for recess due to the cold weather!!  What a difference!

Will the Groundhog See His Shadow?

Today we predicted whether or not the groundhog will see his shadow tomorrow....check out our predications!  What do you think?  We are very hopeful for an early spring...well, maybe Mrs. Atilano is the only one hopeful for an early spring ;-)

We made groundhog paper bag puppets to use while we sang our new song "Here's a Little Groundhog".  This song goes to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot".

Showing Number Partners With Numbers 2-6!

This week we focused on showing numbers partners for numbers 2-6 with our collaborative math partners!  We had lots of fun using the break apart sticks!

Our Hartland Public Library Trip!

On Thursday, we had so much fun walking to the Hartland Public Library!  What great walking weather for us!  During this trip we learned more about the author and illustrator Jan Brett!
